Answer: Probably everything

I came across this tweet the other day and had some thoughts on it, so I figured let’s write them down. The tweet pretty much almost gives the entire thought process that I have: “Time is our greatest asset.” 100% true. One thing that I disagree with is the paying $99 billion. I don’t know anything about Warren Buffet personally nor do I know anything about being old (I am almost 23), but I’d be very surprised if someone at Buffet’s age wouldn’t pay every penny they have to be young again. I mean, why not? You get only one life, you have no idea what comes next, why not take the chance? I know all this is completely hypothetical, but thinking about this makes me value my time even more. We’re not getting younger. I’d pay whatever little I have to be 21 again, use my time more efficiently, live those years again.
I saw some replies that said something along the lines of “oh the world is so competitive now” and “I don’t want to give up all what I have done”. Why worry about all that? There’s so much going on. Better or for worse that we can debate. But we have limited time. We’ll never be younger again, but we’ll never be this young again. This tweet reminds me of my own mortality and that is scary.
Time is our greatest asset.
