Rules I try to follow (and sometimes fail but 100% believe in)
Don't do harm. No stealing, cheating, physical/mental harm to anybody unless in self-defence (obviously).
At the same time, resist evil & retaliate. I fail at this often but 100% believe in.
Class discrimination is real. This is discrimination on the basis of someone's profession. Never, ever, disrespect someone's way of making a living (legal of course & not involved in #1). Your fancy degree or laptop job don't make you better than a factory/farm worker or whoever else.
No racism. No need to explain.
Pay attention to health. Workout, don't eat garbage & no alcohol/smoking/drugs. Get better. All reasons to engage in those things are cope including junk eating. This simply means poor responsibility on someone's behalf, bad attitude & bad choices. Sorry, it is a weak decision.
Don't join cults & don't hero worship.
Don't lend anything more than you can be happy to lose.
Staunchly Pro Democracy & Pro Capitalism. Anti-Communism, Socialism, Libertarianism & Fascism.
Pro Fiat standard & Anti Bullion/any type of crypto standard.
Therapy culture is bad and don't wallow in self pity or victimization. Just man up, grow a pair and suck it up.
I am pro-Privacy. If you are being surveilled, by big tech or govt, you change behaviors. You are not yourself. This creates a culture of conformity, social rigidity and risk aversion.
Will add more if something comes to my mind this was on top of my head.
Some Old man opinions:
No serious work happens with laptop in beds. Work from the table. Same for reading books.
Don't eat on your bed or working table. I hate risking food crumbs in bed/workspace. Use eating area: be it office or home.
No serious work can be done on the phone. Calls & mails don't count
